Rocky Mountain Fiction Writer's Conference 2009
When: Sept 11th-13th 2009 Where: Renaissance Hotel, 3801 Quebec St, Denver, CO 80207Well, this was my second time to attend a Writer's conference. It was a big event for me, as the first chapter of my story "Sparrow and the Toad" was a finalist in the speculative fiction category.
Sadly I didn't win the contest, but the judge did say that he thought it was the strongest showing in the category that he had ever seen, and that all of the finalists were publishable. I won't lie, that was more than a little bit of an ego boost.
